We exist as a congregation to glorify God by learning to live out, model and share with everyone the new life that is ours in Jesus Christ. We call others to hear the gospel and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Located on the University of Wisconsin campus, we see the university as our primary setting for ministry. We are called to equip and develop our student members while they are with us and to send them out to serve wherever God calls them.
We believe in the one true Creator God, who shows himself to us in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God created men and women in his image, for fellowship with him.
We believe that Adam and Eve fell into sin, bringing all humanity into a state of corruption and alienation from God.
We believe that God, in his great love, sent to earth his one and only Son Jesus, fully God and fully human, born of a virgin and without sin. Through his death on the cross and his resurrection, Jesus obtained for believers eternal life, a free gift of grace.
We believe that Christ sends the Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of believers, showing them their sin, helping them become holy, and empowering them to serve others and share the gospel in the world.
We believe that Jesus will come again in glory to bring his kingdom to earth. At this time, the redeemed will fully enter eternal life in God’s presence, but the unredeemed will be raised to face judgment.
We believe that the Church is a spiritual fellowship instituted by Christ. We observe the holy sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God; we submit to its authority for faith and life.
We believe that Jesus calls us to be his disciples in all areas of life, exhibiting our faith in him by social and personal behavior which brings glory to God’s name.
