Geneva Campus Church regularly employs interns as part of our staff.
Vocation|Formation Intern Naomi Vang
Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Naomi grew up enjoying the outdoors and eating Johnsonville brats. The Vangs were members of Community Alliance Church, the local Hmong CMA congregation. In 2010, Naomi began attending UW-Madison, and became a member of Geneva Campus Church in 2012. Throughout her undergraduate years, Naomi worked part time, tutored English, and was part of the Asian American InterVarsity (IV) chapter.
She attributes her spiritual growth to the time spent in Bible studies and prayer groups, IV retreats, and Geneva Campus Church. In May 2015, Naomi graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a double major in Communications and Sociology. She currently works part time at IV as a Donor Communications Assistant.
Some of her favorite things to do are listening to audio books during her commute, playing board games with family, and spending time with her cute eight-month-old nephew. Naomi’s been to Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. She hopes to visit South America and Europe someday.
